By far my favorite pellets. Burn hot, and clean. After tons of other pellets I'll be buying these exclusively for our winter heating needs.
They aren't as hot as the Northern Warmth Supreme Douglass Fir (maybe a 5% difference in actual heat but it's most noticeable on lowest burn setting), but these have a few advantages. First, they smell much better - the Supreme Douglass Fir always smelled like feet to us, kinda weird. These smell very neutral.
These are cheaper, the dust seems thinner and less likely to clog the hopper, and they make a similarly tiny amount of ash. So for less money I'll happily trade a tiny heat difference for a similar quality that doesn't seem to make the stove as dusty.
This is a very clean burning pellet, and I am delighted not to have to clean the stove as often. They give off a very pleasant aroma to add to the worth of the product.
This was my first year burning Minute Man gold. They compared very favorably with other douglass fir pellets I've used in past seasons. Great heat and very little ash, I only had to clean out my stove once a week after burning for 24/7. I especially liked that there were no clinkers/cakes building up in the firepot when burning this brand.
This was my first year burning Pellets. The Stove Shop suggested a Hard wood pellet. i switched to the soft wood and it burned a lot hotter and cleaner. My glass stayed cleaner longer and less clean out. I would highly recommend this brand. It kept our house warmer than the Hard wood especially in the extra Cold days we had in 2019
This is almost as good as NW Supreme Douglas Fir. Very low ash, hot burn, my glass on door stays cleaner longer. Since it's cheaper might be the better buy since results are so close. Definitely a brand on my shopping list.
