Annual Spring Sale
Our 2026 Spring Sale is April 13-20. All orders during this 1 week sale receive free indoor storage until March 13, 2027. Choose your pickup and/or your delivery month(s).
Payment is due up front to secure your fuel for next season. All major credit cards are accepted. Personal checks and cash are accepted but you must contact us to place an order. There will not be a check/cash payment option during your online checkout process.
Yes, make check payments payable to Bucks Pellets and mail to PO Box 101 Fountainville PA 18923. Checks must be received within 7 business days of your order date or your order will be cancelled.
If you realize that you've make a mistake on your order, simply contact us and we'll make the necessary adjustments.
Yes, a receipt will be emailed to you immediately upon placing an order. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us because it is likely your order did not go through for some reason.

We deliver to the following counties in Pennsylvania: Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh, & Northampton. We also deliver to select areas in Chester & Delaware Counties. In New Jersey, we deliver to Hunterdon County south of Rt 78.
Please indicate your preferred delivery month(s) and any blackout dates you may have in the Order Note box in your shopping cart. Our delivery season begins in August and ends in February. We will contact you about a week prior to your delivery in your preferred delivery month. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred delivery month. If we cannot fill a delivery truck to your area in your preferred month, we will contact you.
During your checkout process, choose Multiple Deliveries as your shipping option. Indicate your preferred delivery months in the Order Note box in your shopping cart. We will bill you later prior to each delivery.
In most cases, unfortunately no. We deliver on the days that our delivery partners are available. When we reach out to you to schedule your garage delivery, we ask you to provide specific dates that you are available. Feel free to indicate your preferred delivery days in the Order Note box in your shopping cart. Since you are not required to be home for a driveway delivery, we do not ask for your availability. You just mark the drop spot with a cone, bucket, sign or chalk mark and that's where we place your pallet(s).
Yes, during our Spring Sales dates April 13-20, 2026. After that, we have limited office hours from May through August.
Please contact us to schedule a time to pick up your order. We do not have regular pickup hours May through August.
Please leave a message. There are only two of us answering phones, so we do miss calls while we are assisting other customers. Calling us repeatedly over and over only ties up our phone lines even more. We will return your call if you leave a message.

Yes we do. We’ve been burning wood pellets for many years now. We are constantly working to improve or add to the brands we carry. Along with burning the wood pellet brands that we carry, we try to burn a few bags of other brands each year to see how they compare.
Yes we do. We’re proud to carry Blaschak bagged Anthracite coal in Rice, Nut and Pea size. Blaschak is mined right here in Eastern Pennsylvania.
We do a visual inspection of each and every ton of heating fuel that leaves our greenhouse and when they’re delivered to your home. Although all of our skids are covered with a plastic sleeve, shrink wrapped or both, we highly recommend that you store them inside or under cover to protect them from the weather. Please do a visual inspection upon receipt of your heating fuel. If you happen to receive one or more bags of pellets that were damaged or ruined due to moisture prior to receiving them, please contact us within 7 days and we’ll be happy to replace the damaged bags.
Wood Pellets
Softwood: The Misunderstood Pellet : Softwood pellets have been getting a bad rap because of incorrect information given to customers. Many people think because it is a softwood that it will burn faster. This is not true. It does burn hotter so you will need to regulate your stove settings then sit back and enjoy the heat! Wood pellets, whether hard or soft have a similar density, therefore will have similar burn times. Softwood pellets will produce a much lighter and fluffier ash and also have the added benefit of clean burning resins that ignite for the higher BTU value.
They’re all awesome. All of our softwood pellets burn hot and clean compared to just about any other brand that you’ll find in this market. The difference comes down to the species of saw dust used in production and which one your stove prefers. Please refer to our comparison guide which is located on each item page.
We stand 100% behind all of the products that we sell. Please keep in mind that some of our wood pellets travel nearly 3,000 miles to get here, so nicked and/or water damaged skids do occur on occasion. We do ask that our customers do a visual inspection of their wood pellets within 7 days of pick up or delivery. However, we understand that sometimes water damage isn’t always apparent until the bag is opened. No need to worry. Just send us an email or give us a call and we’ll be happy to makes things right.
Absolutely!! You’re more than welcome to stop by our shop anytime during our open pick up hours. We suggest that you place an order or contact us ahead of time, so we can pull your product from inventory and have it ready when you arrive. This helps to expedite your pick up, but is not necessary.
We carry 8 brands of wood pellet fuel by the bag and by the ton. Pricing varies from brand to brand.
Delivery
We deliver to the following counties in Pennsylvania: Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh, & Northampton. We also deliver to select areas in Chester & Delaware Counties. In New Jersey, we deliver to Hunterdon County south of Rt 78.
It depends on your zip code and how many tons you want delivered. Your delivery fee will be calculated at checkout when you enter your zip code.
Our fuel prices do not include delivery. Delivery is a separate fee that is calculated at checkout when you enter your zip code.
No, our delivery season begins in August and ends in February depending on the number of delivery requests and the weather. Our delivery trucks run 7 days per week in the Fall. Delivery requests tend to slow down in the summer and around the holidays, so we reduce the number of trucks in service.
Simply drop off payment at our sales office prior to delivery. If you prefer to pay with a personal check, send it to the mailing address mentioned above.
Our delivery time frame is typically 1-3 weeks. It depends on the time of year and the number of other deliveries we have in your area. This time frame can increase to 4+ weeks during our busiest delivery months of September through November. Once you place an order, we appreciate your patience while we map your address and coordinate the logistics of your delivery. We will confirm your delivery date with you prior to delivery. Email or text is our preferred method of communication so please provide an email address on your order that you check daily. If you prefer a text message, please make a note on your order. For the safety of our drivers, we may postpone a delivery due to inclement weather.
Storage
We waive the storage fee and offer free storage when you place an order during our Spring Sale dates. Otherwise, you can store your pellet or coal fuel with us until March 13th, 2027 for a small fee. Our storage option applies to orders placed and stored for longer than 2 weeks.
If you don’t have enough space, we will store your fuel in our greenhouse for an additional fee. Pick up your tons or bags as needed throughout the heating season. Please remember to sign out in our sales office each time you pick up. Our storage fee is waived during our Spring Sale.
Absolutely. We have regular pick up hours September through April. Pick up hours are limited May through August.
No. Depending on your storage space, either have your fuel delivered all at once or at different times throughout the heating season. Delivery fees apply each time a delivery is made to your home/business. Please give us 3 weeks notice so we can schedule accordingly.
All pellet and coal orders that are stored with us must be delivered by mid February 2027 or picked up by March 13th, 2027.
Pickup
Please go into our sales office and tell us what you are picking up and sign the log in sheet.
Yes. We have multiple forklifts available to quickly and safely load your vehicle.
Absolutely. We’ll load your vehicle with however many bags you’re comfortable transporting. And we’ll hold the rest of your order until you return. Please note that a $25 storage fee will be billed for any orders that are not picked up within 2 weeks.
We typically say however many you feel comfortable with. It is highly recommended that you refer to your vehicle’s owner manual to confirm how much weight your vehicle can hold.
No. Online ordering does save you time but is not mandatory.
