Burned pretty much every brand Bucks has had for close to 10 yrs including all the softies when they carried quite a multitude of different ones back then.
Ordered a ton of forest fuels this round for 1 st time but am assured from past experiences with Bucks pellets that they will be way ahead of any box store hardwoods.
Only place I will buy from without testing a bag. Have used the Hamer hots, barefoot, and Tru-wood and all are great hardwoods..can't get away from ash with most any hardwood but these brands bring the Heat which is what it's all about for me....
I have been burning Hamers for several years. I tried the Forest Fuel because of my back. I found that there is much less ash and the Forest Fuel burns a little hotter. Try them you will see the difference .
I've tried all the hardwood pellets in the lineup and these are right on par with the Barefoot pellets in terms of heat output but best of all how clean they burn. For the price I'll be rocking with these next year.
