as a longtime softwood burner, decided to snag some hardwoods last buying season to use as shoulder season pellets.[ early fall/early spring].. they we're much hotter than I exspected.... 1st hardwoods I have bought since my freshman days yrs ago when i bought box store stuff not knowing how middle rd they we're..
Burned some bags during a cold spell this winter and they did not dissapoint...not as hot as the top softies but miles above box store pellets... would buy again.
Ive using Barefoot for years now and they have never let me down. Great heat for a hardwood and always clean burning. We have a 10 year old Enviro Mini and it really does best with Barefoot , very low ash per day. I also can burn a bag a day for 2 weeks average before having to empty the ash hopper , sometimes longer. Also been with Bucks Pellets for a long time and always get Great , Friendly service. 5 Stars all around.
Great BTU output on this product, very few clunks and fines, extremely LOW ash. Using this, at about a bag a day, I still have room in my ash pan after 14 days. My stove is 20 years old and loves these pellets. I purchase this brand year after year and love supporting a PA made product.
