I find this to be very comparable to Barefoot, which is my go to pellets the last two years. I have tried most if not all hardwoods and softwoods from Bucks Pellets (and even the junk at chain Stores) and based on dust and clean burn have settled on Barefoot for most days and the Supreme for really cold days. I only tried 2 bags of Tru-Wood when temp was in the 30s and I didn't notice a difference between Tru-Wood and Barefoot. My husband said if anything it burned slightly hotter than Barefoot. The Tru-Wood had little dust/fines in the bag, burned clean without leaving black residue and similar amount of Ash to Barefoot. I will have to try more bags to make a complete switch. Depending on price, I will likely buy a ton or two if available in the Spring Sale.

I've been burning the Tru wood pellets. They're a good pellet. Not a lot of sawdust and nice heat. I'm satisfied and will be getting a ton in your spring buy.
